here is my story
We began our journey in the summer of 2009. We met our health coach for coffee and decided then and there we wanted the results they were having. Trying every other weight loss program out there to lose weight and get healthy since the beginning of our marriage. Our hope and belief that this program was going to work was not that strong. But our health coach assured us that he would be there to support us and that if we followed the 5 & 1 program and stayed connected to him and the bio-network of support the results would follow and the weight and inches would melt off. It was amazing to see Thea down 43 lbs and at her healthy BMI, such a short amount of time. She had never seen a size 2 before; completely skipping that size in her teenage years. Doug went on to lose 64 lbs. And was now back at the size he was in junior high. We are moving forward in our health journey by daily adapting the Habits of Health. We make a daily choice to stay healthy, stay accountable to each other, and teach our 2 young girls about making healthy choices at there impressionable age. We now have the energy to keep up with our 6 and 3 year old girls!! They are the Joy of our life. We enjoy Family Nights and building relationship with all our friends and family that have joined us on this journey to Optimal Health and Longevity. We thought Becoming Health coaches during our weight loss would help keep us accountable. Little did we know that was only the beginning? Our lives would quickly change and experience growth we had only dreamed of. We developed Healthier Bodies; Balanced Life & now get to pass the gift of health to the people we care about the most.
